All in or all out?
The all or nothing mindset has always been a topic of discussion.
Because for most of us, we tend to be all in or all out.
We never seem to be in the middle.
Got all my workouts in. ALL IN.
Hit all my calorie goals. ALL IN.
Slept like a champ. ALL IN.
I didn't get my workouts in. ALL OUT
I ate a cookie, an ice cream treat, and candy this week. Week ruined. ALL OUT.
I didn't meal prep. ALL OUT
No matter if you were all in or all out, did anything really happen?
No.
Because that's life.
There is no one size fits all. Things can change even if we are prepared.
AND THAT'S OKAY!
It's the habits that we create overtime (even when life is messy) that help us stay consistent over time.
If you have 10 minutes, move your body.
If you forgot to meal prep, make the next meal a better choice.
If you had an off week, start fresh today.
Health is built in the everyday moments, not in the “perfect” ones.
It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
Time to drop the all or nothing mentality. It doesn't exist.
Create the habits that work for you.
That's the journey that's made for you and one that you can stick to.
