You can do hard things.
Physically
Mentally
Emotionally
Sometimes daily
Sometimes unwanted
Sometimes on purpose
But you can do hard things.
Why?
Because you believe in yourself.
Because even when you think you can't, you can.
Two weeks in a row, I have done something physically hard and challenging on purpose.
First, to continue to prove to myself that no matter how tough it is, I can still do it. I am physically strong, mentally tough, and giving up is not in my vocabulary.
Many times on that mountain, there was doubt.
I repeated it over and over and over again.
You can do hard things. You can do hard things.
Which then turned into, I did that!
Just like I knew I could.
This week, we completed the 9/11 stair climb for the 4th year in a row. A daunting task that always questions if you can do it, turns into I really did that. With so many ups and downs and are we there yet to, we did that. We fricken did that. So dang proud of those girls!
Life, workouts, jobs, family, friends, etc are not meant to be easy. They sprinkle in the hard parts of life to remind you that you are more capable than you ever thought possible.
Because guess what.
Everytime you think you can't, you can.
